Doktahgonzo Nice to finally get to see this video. I can remember back in the XLII days listening to this in my car, listening for the changes on the rotation jam (which was better executed than others) and all the energy that went with the crowd during the madness of it all. How many other bands could EVER possibly pull this kind of shit off, especially in the midst of what is an otherwise extremely complex song like YEM?

forbin1 this was my 3rd show that I attended...only recall a few things from this show..of course this being one of them...the other..my first harpua (although I didn't fully understand it...just thought it was some wacky story)...this also happened to be my 2nd rotation jam...got my first, at my first show the year before....

forbin1 thanks for posting this video...first time I've ever seen it...forgot how Trey went nuts...once he got behind the drums...

RandomPhan Great video, someone needs to fix the audio - it's way off.

Phart_Door There used to be incredibly crappy sounding video of this that was in sync, now it sounds a little better and is way out of sync. Hopefully somebody can grab the new audience recording and put it all together.

Phrank518 Yes audio is way off...would love to hear it all fixed up. Trey is on the drums and still ripping it up on guitar at the same time...I guess he really is a jedi.

DollarBill Great times in Phish history. This is great to see, agreed the sync is off, but very cool. I only caught the Pittsburgh and Grand Rapids shows that fall, wish I could've done more.

Memories, memories....my beautiful memorieeeeeees! (barbershop, of course)

MDosque My first show. I reviewed it on this site and still to this day, can't get the image of that person in a full body Gumby suit out of my head. I walked in next to him/her. I was 15 and the whole experience blew my mind. Many great shows later, I still consider this one extra special. The whole Rotation Jam actually translated amazing live and at the time was seamless. The video doesn't do it justice. Really great stuff. The Harpua from this show is stellar too, and at the time, I agree with forbin1, I had no clue what this weird story was all about, but it made sense. Thanks for posting this video. What a nice little memory...15 years ago? Wow.
